ADMISSION  PROCEDURE:

  • NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL offers classes from Montessori  to Class 12.
  • The completed application form is to be submitted to the office along with the documents given below:
  1. Child’s recent passport size photograph
  2. Birth Certificate (Xerox copy)
  3. Community Certificate (Xerox copy)
  4. Academic Records (Xerox copy)
  • Parents along with the child will be invited to NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL for an interactive session with the Principal/Head teacher on designated days. Children seeking admission to Class 2 and upward will have to take an admission test either prior to or following the interactive session.
  • The processing of the application may take up to 2 weeks. Only successful applicants will be informed through phone/e-mail.
  • Upon notification parents may collect the Letter of Admission from the office.
  • All fees to be paid within 2 weeks of issue of Letter of Admission from the office.
  • The school is under no obligation to provide reasons for or justify applications that are not successful.

SCHOOL SESSION:

NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL  is affiliated CBSE, the session is from aprill  to march.The academic year consists of two terms,namely
Summative 1 – April to September
Summative 2- November – March.

Co-curriculum:
The curriculum is a student centric one that allows plenty of scope for activities that build speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. At NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL, we have planned the curriculum, the programmes and activities with care and the intention to help THE CHILD  reach  highest potential & discover the joy in learning. The areas covered are beyond academics they are art, dance, music, debate, quiz,sports etc…

Promotion Criteria & Grade Scale

Nursery to Class – V
Grades will be assigned (5 point scale) as per CBSE norms.

Classes VI to X
In each term, there will be two Formative Assessments. The Summative Assessments will be of 30%  weight age as per CBSE norms. The students would also be assessed and graded upon life style, attitude and values. The participation in school activities and the voluntary work done by the student will also be reflected in the Performance Record.

  • A student must obtain a minimum of 33% to be granted promotion.
  • To be eligible for retest, a student should obtain at least 25% in the given subject.

Class – XI

  • There will be two terms. One unit test would be conducted in the first term and Two unit tests will be conducted in the final term. The final term examination will cover the entire syllabus.

  • A student must obtain a minimum of 33% to be granted promotion. They should pass separately in theory and practical.

Class XII

  • In class XII, One terminal exams in the mid term, along with two Pre-Board Examination in the month of December and January will be held.
  • 2 Unit Testes in the first term and one in the second term will be conducted.
  • In each of the examination, theory and practical exams are assessed separately.
